This makes me happy to hear!

M$ changed from VB6 ("classic") to VB.net when launching the .net platform in an effort to force developerd to move to the new platform. Problem is (besides .net sucking in general) VB.net is completely different and only shares the name and basic syntax of the language. They did a conversion tool, but this can only handle very simple and basic code. FR is way to complicated to convert. It would basically be like porting to another language. In an ideal world this would be fun, but the reality is that I can't afford to spend that much time on porting FR since it does not bring in much money. So unless Google decides to buy FR I am stuck... :-)
