can not modify the content of the Exif tags. I don't know any program that can do this. In the future it is possible that I add this feature to Flash Renamer

Subject: How do I change the year in the Exif tag
My camera date had the wrong YEAR set. All pictures say: taken at dd-mm-2004.
That I want to change to dd-mm-2006.
I downloaded (&installed) version 5.03. Clicked Tab Attributes & Date > Set Date & Time.
I chose "Enter date below" and I typed a date with year 2006 and checked Year and Modified.
In the column headed "Changed" the year changed to 2006, but moving the cursor over the file name in the Explorer still said that the picture was made (taken) in 2004.
Checking Year and Created did not change anything.
Choosing "Get from jpeg image Exif tag" (which apparently still carried tjhe 2004 date) changed the date back to 2004.
So I did not succeed in changing the date on the Exif tag - but had gotten the impression from your Help File that it could be done. In fact the date on the Exif tag should not be the source, but the target of the operation.
Please tell me how to do it - OR, if it is not possible, could you tell me whether you know of a program that can handle this.
